And because when you use our gift registry we offer these contributing friends and family a discount certificate of their own, equal to their contribution to your Heirloom Portrait, ( up to $200 each ) so then technically it’s as free to them as it is to you. That’s right;…..ZERO COST for an original hand painted oil on canvas fine art portrait painting that features you as the primary subject. How cool is that!
Our prices are typically about one third that of comparable artists work but we are more interested in staying busy and painting through the recession than we are in making huge profits. Prices start in the $850 range for simple figurative works and go up from there. Pricing is completely reliant upon what you the client wants as a finished result. This is affected by many factors including; number of subjects, style, other compositional elements, detail of subjects, from head only to full body, canvas size, etc,. Take a look through our Galleries and you will get an idea of the broad options that you have from simple figurative compositions to Photo-realistic portraiture. We make our best efforts to estimate the amount of time/cost that a piece will require to complete, in advance. This estimate can only be determined after a consultation between you the client and the artist and using many example images to help both more thoroughly communicate in the necessary language of visual imagery.
FYI: Our master artisans make less of an hourly rate than a Plumber who would come to fix a leaking faucet but we truly love our work.
